In his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, Stuart J. Straus brings over 30 years of consumer products experience in customer development, marketing, branding, and general management both domestically and internationally. Stuart possesses strategic commercial focus providing direction to build long term company growth and expertise in working with customers to co-create brands and programs to drive mutual growth. He has led several companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and expansion modes giving him a strong sense of urgency to drive growth and success for customers and for Compass Health Brands.
Prior to joining Compass, Stuart was CEO of Sun & Skin Care Research, a leading manufacturer of sun and skin care products including such brands as BullFrog and NO-AD. Under his guidance, the company grew their major brands, increased market share, and became the fastest growing manufacturer in the sun care category leading to a sale to a multi-national manufacturer. Prior to Sun & Skin, Stuart was CEO of Personal Care Products, the leading US provider of value health/beauty and household products. While there, he drove the creation of new brands and forged new relationships with strategic customers including Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, & Kroger.
Earlier in his career, Stuart worked in senior management roles for Helene Curtis/Unilever and Andrew Jergens/Kao Brands, and began his career with L'Oréal. In addition to his executive roles, Stuart founded The Beautology Brands Company. Beautology created hair care brands and partnered with major drug chains to create exclusive premium beauty offerings.
Stuart graduated from University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance. He enjoys spending free time with his wife, Roberta, and his two adult children, Matt and Lindsay.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Vince manages operations and supply chain with a consumer and customer mindset, ensuring a focus on product quality, operating a cost-efficient supply chain and delivering impeccable customer service.
Vince brings more than 15 years of experience within operations, delivering a strong track record of achieving and managing operational growth for major corporations as well as leading many teams through organizational transformations.
Prior to Compass Health, Vince served as the Vice President of Operations and head of Global Supply Chain and Logistics at Tweezerman International where he delivered significant EBITDA improvement through operational efficiencies, sourcing efficiencies and organizational re-structuring. Prior to Tweezerman, Vince worked as part of Amazon’s Inbound Supply Chain team to improve operational efficiencies and drive vendor compliance. Early in his career, Vince spent 10 years at Unilever, working in various functions across manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics and within many of the personal care categories. Specifically, Vince was Group Planning Manager for Unilever’s $1.2 billion deodorant business and helped lead major network optimization projects for the North American bar soap category, delivering significant EBITDA and organizational improvements.
Vince graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering.
As Senior Vice President leading the finance team, Kallie brings extensive operational and financial experience to her role and is responsible for the overall financial management of the Company, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, M&A, internal audit and tax functions.
Kallie has been with the organization for over 14 years and has been instrumental in both the financial and operational aspects of the business and has been involved with the integration of 8 acquisitions during her tenure. Kallie enjoys working with cross-functional teams and focusing on the continuous improvement of the business.
Prior to joining the Compass team, Kallie gained experience as a CPA in audit and tax with McGladrey & Pullen where she audited and advised clients in markets ranging from manufacturing to banking.
Kallie is a graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Business and based out of our Sioux Falls, SD office where she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick and their daughter, Victoria.
As Senior Vice President leading the Retail Business Unit, Tony is responsible for leading the strategy and development to drive the category growth and development of our retail partners. Tony is a thorough leader and passionate about developing and implementing winning programs.
Tony brings more than 20 years of consumer-packaged goods sales experience across all major retail channels, including food, drug, mass and club. He was a senior-level sales executive at US Nutrition, a $3.2 billion manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of top-selling brands, including Nature's Bounty, Osteo-BiFlex, Sundown, and Pure Protein. Previously, as a top sales executive at Schiff Nutrition, a leading manufacturer of premium vitamins and supplements, he helped grow the business exponentially. He was responsible for developing and executing the national sales plan that included the launch of Schiff Mega Red, which became the #1 selling brand in its category. Prior to Schiff, Tony spent ten highly successful years in various sales and sales leadership roles with The Gillette Company.
Tony holds a B.S.B.A. in Economics from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
As Senior Vice President of Therapy for the Richmar Business Unit, Ryan is responsible for leading and managing the development efforts with our Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Athletic Training partners.
Ryan brings more than 20 years of experience selling into various healthcare channels. He started his career as a practicing physical therapist at St Louis University Hospital, where he acquired a unique perspective of patient care from the provider’s point of view. Later, Ryan joined Johnson and Johnson, and began his sales career working in their medical device division. Thereafter, he joined several other healthcare organizations in various sales leadership capacities where he gained a diverse range of experience with both start-up companies and large complex organizations.
Prior to joining Compass, Ryan served as the Vice President of Sales for Current Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturing of pain management products, where he was instrumental in leading strategic growth through business development and product innovations. In February of 2012, the company was acquired by Compass Health Brands (previously Roscoe), and Ryan was appointed to Vice President of Sales for the Professional Division.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition, he holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ryan is based out of the Compass Health Brands office in St Louis. Ryan and his wife have six children and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
As Senior Vice President, Professional Home Medical Equipment, Greg is responsible for leading the strategy and development in to the Home Medical Equipment market, OEM and Distributor Channels for both the domestic and global markets.
Greg brings more than 20 years' experience in the medical device industry, including capital medical equipment. He thrives in dynamic business environments often leading, developing and transforming his divisions into high performance organizations.
Prior to Compass Health, Greg was with Linet Americas as Vice President of Commercial Operations and Business Development. It was there he successfully transformed the company from the formative start-up phase to the normative growth stage resulting in significant growth in sales and EBITDA improvement. Earlier in his career, Greg worked for such brands as ScottCare, Inc., Hill-Rom, Inc. and Mediq, Inc. Through out his career, Greg has successfully built and developed strong teams that work together to deliver results.
Greg holds a BA in Business Administration from Wittenberg University. Greg enjoys spending time with his family and his boats out on the open water.
